Vision

Why we exist.

Most people encounter classical Chinese metaphysics as folklore — interesting, perhaps decorative, rarely something a serious organisation would build a strategy around. We founded Circle Workshop to challenge that assumption.

These methods were, in their own time, the analytical tools of statesmen, generals, and merchants making decisions with real consequences. We treat them the same way today: as structured, verifiable methods for understanding timing, position, and risk — running alongside, not replacing, modern strategic thinking.

Our long-term vision is a practice that moves fluidly between boardroom and personal counsel — equally comfortable advising on a project's timing as on a life decision — because the underlying judgement required is the same in both.

Our founder's practice began over a decade ago, at the intersection of two disciplines rarely taught together: classical Chinese metaphysics and modern organisational strategy. That combination remains the foundation of every engagement at Circle Workshop.

Trained through years of formal study in BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, and Feng Shui under established lineage practitioners, and shaped further by direct commercial experience advising developers, executives, and family businesses across the Asia-Pacific region.

The conviction behind Circle Workshop is straightforward: the methods are only as valuable as the judgement applied to them. That judgement is built from years of client work — private consultations, project reviews, and long-term advisory relationships — not from theory alone.
